The international ISHF2022 event inspired and energised

Summery Helsinki provided an inspiring backdrop, while the magnificent festival atmosphere enchanted the participants, at the International Social Housing Festival, focusing on affordable and state-subsidised housing, on 14-17 June. Queue number for applying for right-of-occupancy housing

Application process for a queue number for right-of-occupancy homes

To apply for a right-of-occupancy home, you need a queue number.

ARA will refund the extra charges. If you were charged a fee without receiving a queue number, we will refund the extra fees without a separate request. We aim to refund excess payments within two weeks of payment.

Homelessness in Finland 2022

At the end of 2022, there were 3,686 homeless people living alone in Finland, which is 262 less than in 2021. The number of the long-term homeless was 1,133, which marks a decrease of 185 people. This information is based on data collected from municipalities by the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA).
